At Love, Live, Laugh we provide disability support services assisting our amazing participants in their daily lives as well as providing enriching experiences to further their skills, confidence and overall health. We operate right across Sydney and are proud to be known to provide tailored solutions/activities to our clients who are diverse in age, culture and personalities!

A little about you

If you are a caring individual with a genuine passion to help those in need, we may be the perfect fit for you.

Having experience in the industry is favourable, although it is not essential. What we look for in our support personnel is the drive to better the lives of others. We want the best of the best and understand that sometimes they will come from different career backgrounds.

At Love, Live, Laugh we have a strong belief that any job can be taught with the right mentors, patience and enough time.

What can’t be taught is life experience, the right personality, compassion and understanding.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Supporting our clients to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Supporting our clients with personal care.
  • Driving the clients allocated to you – to and from their homes
  • Spending time with and getting to better know your participants, their goals and what they hope to achieve out of the NDIS program.

Essential and Desired Criteria:

  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain (cost covered by us if needed) – essential.
  • Current CPR Certificate or willing to obtain (cost covered by us if needed) – essential.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain (cost covered by us if needed) – essential.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain (cost covered by us) – essential.
  • Current Provisional or higher Driver’s Licence – essential.
  • Knowledge of the NSW Disability Standards – highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of WHS principles including safe manual handling procedures – highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work casual shifts on a rotating roster – highly desirable.
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of the participant – essential.
  • A genuine passion for helping individuals on a daily basis and the ability to be patient, positive and genuinely committed to enriching the lives of our participants – essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a similar industry will be highly regarded, however is not essential as full on the job training and support is always available.
